“ We came on Thursday night, it was empty. Our server Olivia was amazing, knowledgeable, fast. Food was delicious, we ordered pizza Rapini and special pasta with lobster and shrimp buratta and arugula salad for appetizer. Good size portions, everything was fresh. Wine selection is great too. Nice authentic Italian place in Oakville! ”

“ First time at Buca. The food was amazing. The three of us had fettuccine with short rib ragu. My wife’s comment was that that the regu was almost as good as her Sicilian mother’s. That’s a big compliment. We tried the gnocchi with candied wild boar bacon appetizer to start which was also very good. The service was excellent with very friendly and attentive staff. All in all, an excellent Mother’s Day meal. Highly recommend. ”
“ Buca Di Bacco is our "go to" for special occasions. Love the cozy, rustic atmosphere, delicious food, great service and reasonable prices. I usually have the penne vodka - fantastico! But this time tried the Veal Satimbocca - perfecto. My wife loves the Penne Divaola cause she likes hot & spicy food (adds extra chili flakes provided). The big benefit for her is their amazing gluten free pasta, best we've tasted. We weren't clear about GF when we ordered and the non GF version was served. When we mentioned it, Olivia immediately apologized (even though it was not the waiter's fault), took it away and replaced it with the GF version. When the bill came, it was not even charged! I said that was not necessary and asked them to add it but she insisted it be complimentary. Wow! On top of that, since there are no dairy free desserts (which my wife requires), they brought her a bowl of fresh fruit - no charge! If anything is not quite right, Olivia will look after it. Shout out to our friendly and attentive waiter, Humza. Like they say on the Food Network... "You Gotta Eat Here"! ”
“ Great date-night restaurant given the ambience and layout. I find it easy to have a conversation versus other places that get loud. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The food amazing. Also, priced well for the quality of the food versus some other downtown Oakville restaurants. This place is a gem and becoming a favorite of ours. I had the mussels (cozze) as an app, which was an ample amount. Sauce was tasty with a little heat and perfect for bread dipping. My main was the Penne. My wife had the Burrata as an app and the Risotto Funghi as her main. All made to perfection. We finished with a bread putting dessert which I must say had the most amazing tasting ice cream. ”
